Why OpticPulse

The carrier-grade standard

There's a massive difference between basic wiring and high-performance network infrastructure. We build to full standards compliance — ensuring zero speed degradation.

01

Career telecom field experience

Years of hands-on FTTH/GPON, copper and fibre experience from major-carrier field work bring institutional knowledge of real-world install conditions — avoiding the typical contractor mistakes.

02

ANSI/TIA‑568 compliant

All copper runs are routed, bundled, terminated, and labeled in strict adherence to telecom engineering standards — eliminating electromagnetic interference.

03

Precision fiber splicing

Equipped with professional fusion and mechanical splicers to extend carrier fiber drops, patch damaged lines, and design indoor backbones.

Carrier fiber, fused on site

Most contractors send fiber work away. We bring the fusion splicer to you — extending ISP drops, repairing damaged backbones, and terminating OS2 single-mode with documented insertion-loss results.

  • Field fusion & mechanical splicing — no shipping delays
  • ISP demarc extensions with an outdoor service coil
  • Optional ENT flexible conduit for protected runs
  • OTDR / insertion-loss documentation on every termination

OpticPulse is built on years of hands-on FTTH/GPON, copper, and fibre field experience gained through major-carrier field work across the region. Every job — from a single wall jack to a full builder pre-wire — is done personally by the owner-technician. Certified and standards-driven (BICSI TDMM, ANSI/TIA-568, TIA-606 labelling), fully insured, and based right here in Niagara.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers — no runaround. A few of the most common ones below.

We serve the Niagara region exclusively — Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Welland, Thorold, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the surrounding area. If you're just outside our usual radius, give us a call and we'll let you know if it's workable.

We supply the cabling and installation materials — cable, faceplates, keystone jacks, termination ends, connectors, and patch panels. You supply the active devices: switches, routers, PoE cameras, NVR/DVR recorders, and Wi-Fi access points.

Yes, $129 CAD is our minimum service call. If you have a few small tasks, it's usually most cost-effective to bundle them into a single visit rather than booking separate appointments.

No subcontractors. Every job is done personally by the owner-technician, so the person quoting your job is the same person running your cable and testing every line.

We back our labour with a 12-month workmanship warranty. Any cabling materials we supplied that turn out defective are replaced, with manufacturer warranties passed through where applicable.
